Your Role
In this role, you will not just sell instruments—you’ll serve as a trusted advisor to researchers, ensuring they achieve their goals with BioLogic’s solutions. You’ll connect scientific challenges to technical possibilities, building long-term relationships based on trust and expertise.
What You’ll Do
Drive Sales Growth and Market Development:
- Achieve and exceed sales targets by identifying new opportunities and building relationships with researchers, engineers, and decision-makers.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to expand our presence in key markets, including emerging regions.
- Drive the end-to-end sales process, from generating sales opportunities to negotiations and closing deals. Develop and strengthen dealer networks wherever required to drive sales.
Field Engagement:
- Actively visit customers, conduct product demonstrations or technical workshops, on-site demonstrations, and provide technical consultations to showcase the value of the products.
- Build lasting relations with stakeholders, including researchers, lab managers, and procurement teams.
Be a Trusted Partner to Customers:
- Act as a technical advisor, offering tailored solutions that align with customer needs and research goals and help them achieve research excellence in fields like energy storage and electrochemical analysis by using our instruments.
- Champion Application-Based Selling by guiding customers through application-based solutions for electrochemistry and battery research challenges and establish yourself as a partner in their success.
Collaborate Across Borders:
- Work closely with the National Sales Manager and cross-functional teams (marketing, applications, and service) to align sales strategies and to deliver seamless customer experiences.
- Provide market insights and feedback to refine product offerings and enhance strategies.
Reporting & Administration:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, and client interactions in CRM tools.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market analysis.
Travel and Engage:
- Spend up to 50% of your time traveling to customer sites, research facilities, and events, building strong relationships and delivering hands-on support.
Who We’re Looking For
- Education:
- Master’s degree or a PhD in Electrochemistry, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Any background in corrosion, battery research or energy storage technologies is highly preferred.
- 5–8 years of experience in sales or business development, ideally in scientific or research equipment.
- Experience in sales within the Middle East is highly desirable with insights on market and customer behaviour.
- Knowledge of electrochemistry instruments and their applications is preferred
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills to engage with technical and non-technical audiences.
- A proactive and collaborative approach, with the ability to build trust and credibility with clients and team.
- Comfortable with extensive travel (up to 50%), including international trips in assigned region
- Proficiency in English is essential; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
