In Italy, the Senior Sales Engineer a local subsidiary, working autonomously from home while being strongly connected to the European sales organisation.
Role Overview ๐
To support our continued growth, we are looking for a Senior Technical Sales Engineer based in Italy.
You will be fully responsible for developing BioLogicโs business in your country, working closely with Area Sales Manager from France, the Global Sales Manager and the French headquarters.

You will be the main BioLogic representative in your territory.
Key Responsibilities ๐ฆพ
๐น Business Development & Territory Ownership
Develop and execute the sales strategy for your region.
Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, demonstrations, proposals, negotiation, and closing.
Secure and expand existing customer relationships through regular visits and calls.
Identify business opportunities in academia, industry, and emerging fields (battery innovation, hydrogen, materials science, corrosion, fundamental electrochemistry, sensors, โฆ).
Maintain an active and well-documented pipeline using CRM tools.
๐น Technical Expertise & Customer Support
Provide high-level technical presentations, seminars, and instrument demonstrations.
Understand customer needs and recommend optimal solutions across all BioLogic ranges.
Perform and document installation and operational qualifications (OQ) for new instruments.
Work closely with application specialists and support engineers (remote coordination with France and Europe).
๐น Account Management
Build strong long-term relationships with key academic and industrial accounts.
Ensure customer satisfaction and follow-up after installation.
Gather market insights and competitive information
๐น Cross-functional Collaboration
Coordinate with administration, and service teams for smooth delivery and installations.
Participate in selected conferences, trade fairs, and scientific events in your territory and in Europe.
Contribute to marketing initiatives and product launches.
And other miscellaneous duties as assigned
Profile & Qualifications โ
๐น Required
3โ5+ years of experience in technical sales, scientific instrumentation, or application engineering.
Strong understanding of electrochemistry, batteries, materials science, physics, or analytical instrumentation.
Bachelor/Master/PhD in Chemistry, Electrochemistry, Engineering, Materials Science, Physics or related fields.
Ability to work autonomously, structure priorities, and manage a large territory.
Strong communication, presentation, and customer-relationship skills.
Fluent in Italian and English.
Willingness to travel up to 60%.
๐น Preferred
Experience with potentiostats/galvanostats, battery cyclers or EIS.
Experience with academic research environments or industrial R&D centres.
Some knowledge of French is a plus.
